Highlights
May 2007
07-14 May 2007
Wing Ngan, (Graphic Designer).
We are totaly into "designs with patina", something you can really only achieve printing the traditional way. Wing knows, for example, how silkscreen gives an added value to his bold designs, specially with his perfect color combinations (oh brown, turquoise, orange, pink and silver!) and overprinting effects.

Aurélia Aurita, (Comic Artist).
All image directors should have first been cartoonists. Fitting a whole story in one same page, with scenes rubbing backs with other scenes... is the magic of comic. And Aurélia Aurita is amazingly good at it, not only because she's got great skills but also for her dazzling presence in each of her frames.
April 2007
23-30 Apr 2007
Heather Bailey, (Fabric Designer).
Her fabric designs look almost unreal, like a drawing of a pattern on a drawing of a fabric. The color combinations and how shapes wisely repeat are so pleasant you can't never stop staring, almost like the pioneer filmmakers with the "persistence of vision".
16-23 Apr 2007
Seonna Hong, (Artist).
Seonna started as an art teacher and is now combining solo shows with a succesfull animation career. Her art, either on canvas or celluloid, expresses a charming, somewhat asian-vintage, exquisite appreciation of the Aesthetic. We are specialy inspired by her paintings on wood.
09-16 Apr 2007
Yuko Shimizu, (Illustrator).
Yuko's images are elegant and dreamy; the scenes she paints yell concepts in an silent but rebellious way. We are inspired by the visible Japanese roots, the beautifully disturbing and brave imagination and, above all, by Yuko's cinematic eye.
02-09 Apr 2007
Maybelle Imasa-Stukuls, (Calligrapher).
The current visual tendency of going back to simple and organic designs (inspired by Wabi-Sabi), also applies to text. We are re-discovering the strength of real handwritten typefaces, and Maybelle delights us with her textured an irregular beautiful words.
March 2007

Nikki McClure, (Paper-Cut Artist).
Armed with an X-acto knife, Nikki McClure cuts out emotional landscapes from a single sheet of paper. Her cut-out images talk about patience, community, the importance of simple things in a bold language where light and shadow shape the world.
19-26 Mar 2007
Lara Cameron, (Graphic Designer).
Based in Melbourne, Australia. Specially interesting her recent approach towards pattern design: how she handles repetition in a tiny world of colors and shapes that get along very well. A good pattern designer can't never be a bad visual communicator.
12-19 Mar 2007
Camilla Engman, (Illustrator).
From Göteborg, Sweden, Camilla's illustrations are emotionally intense: her characters seem to struggle communicating a complex story. The viewer has the illusion of a secret intimate connection, something video can only dream with Video Art.
05-12 Mar 2007
S. Barnes and M. Vettese, (Artists).
They live 3191 miles apart. They like to get up early. They post one unplanned picture every morning in their shared project "3191, A Year Of Mornings". The daily discovery of the connections between both pictures in textures, colours and shapes is breakfast for the creative soul.
26 Feb · 05 Mar 2007
Sanna Annukka, (Illustrator).
Half Finnish-half English, Sanna's work is heavily inspired by Findland's nature and folklore. She set up a company right after her studies, thanks to her very first and successful commissioned work: illustrating Keane's second album, "Under the Iron Sea".
February 2007
19·26 Feb 2007
William Lamson (Photographer/Artist).
Selected as part of the "New Photographers 2006" in Cannes 2005, William Lamson is much more than a photograpger: he creates unexpected and beautiful "visual toys" from pictures or video.
12·19 Feb 2007
Mike Lowery (Designer/Illustrator).
Mike is the perfect example of how an overwhelming imagination can make a good designer stand out from the crowd. His illustrations are alive. Visit them in his online portfolio or take them home.
05·12 Feb 2007
Natalie Aniela Dybisz (Photographer).
Being only 21 years old, Miss Aniela is already an outstanding Flickr Celebrity. Specialy interesting and surreal her magical multiple selves.
29 Jan · 05 Feb 2007
Stella Im Hultberg (Illustrator).
Stella is a painter and drawer living in New York City. We are specially inspired by how her illustrations blend with their backgrounds on her 2006 works.
